June, commemorative month of Gay Pride.




Pride Month is celebrated every June as a tribute to those who were involved in the Stonewall Riots, which ocurred in New York at the end of 1969.

Spain is one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world – and therefore also celebrates some of the biggest and liveliest Gay Pride events in the world.

What does LGBTQIA+ stand for?

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual and the + sign is meant to cover anyone else who is not included.

POPPY DAY

Remembrance Day is on November 11th . This is a very special day because it marks the end of World War One in 1918 . The war officially ended at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month – that means 11:00 a.m. on November 11th.  Every year British people come together to remember those who died in wars across the world. People wear red poppies on their clothes.The red poppy became a symbol of Remembrance Day because they grew on the battlefields.
