Translation Day

International Translation Day is celebrated every year on 30th September. Interpreters and translators have really important jobs and they deserve some recognition for what they do.

30th September is the feast day of St. Jerome, the patron saint of translation. He translated the Bible into Latin.

This year, the International Federation of Translators has chosen the theme ‘A world without barriers’
