22 May is a special day for lovers of mystery and deduction: Sherlock Holmes Day. This date celebrates the famous detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

He is best known for his brilliant mind, sharp observation skills, and ability to solve even the most complicated mysteries.. With his iconic deerstalker hat, pipe, and sharp mind, he quickly became a symbol of detective work. His assistant Dr. John Watson, is not only a loyal friend but also the companion and narrator of many of their adventures.

POPPY DAY

Remembrance Day is on November 11th . This is a very special day because it marks the end of World War One in 1918 . The war officially ended at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month – that means 11:00 a.m. on November 11th.  Every year British people come together to remember those who died in wars across the world. People wear red poppies on their clothes.The red poppy became a symbol of Remembrance Day because they grew on the battlefields.
