Translation Day

The 30th of September is celebrated as Translator’s Day in some countries because it is the feast day of St. Jerome in the Christian calendar.
St. Jerome is considered the patron saint of translators because he translated the Bible from Hebrew and Greek into Latin , which helped make religious texts accessible to many people.
